Time 30m

Yield 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup miniature marshmallow
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 banana
1 (11 ounce) mandarin orange segments
3/4 cup yogurt
1/4 cup coconut flakes

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple and put in a bowl. Slice Banana and put in bowl with pineapple. Drain Mandarin oranges and place in bowl, also. Add yogurt, either vanilla or strawberry. I used Dannon Light & fit Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes. Toast coconut and stir into just before serving.

Tips:

  • Select ripe and flavorful fruits. The quality of your fruit will greatly impact the taste of your ambrosia salad. Choose fresh, ripe fruits that are at their peak flavor.
  • Use a variety of fruits. Ambrosia salad is a great way to showcase a variety of fruits. Consider using a mix of berries, citrus fruits, and tropical fruits.
  • Don't overmix the salad. Ambrosia salad is best when the fruits are still intact and not mashed up. Gently toss the fruits together until they are evenly coated in the dressing.
  • Chill the salad before serving. Ambrosia salad is best served chilled. This allows the flavors to meld and the salad to become more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Ambrosia salad is a classic summertime dessert that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With its combination of fresh fruits, creamy yogurt, and toasted coconut, ambrosia salad is a delicious and refreshing treat that is perfect for any occasion.
