1 cup confectioners' sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons sugar
1 vanilla bean

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and lemon zest. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. 1 cup cold butter, cubed
1 egg, separated
2/3 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
