12 ounces fettuccine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons sour cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup fresh basil, snipped

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile in skillet heat oil until hot.
  • Add walnuts and garlic; saute 2-3 minutes.
  • Add milk, sour cream, cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir constantly until sauce thickens.
  • Add basil.

2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
