½ cup chili sauce (I used Heinz)
8 ounces cream cheese (slightly softened)
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup grated onion (use your cheese grater)
1 teaspoon creamed horseradish
1 dash or two Worcestershire Sauce
1 dash or two or three Tabasco Sauce
½ pound cooked salad shrimp or shrimp meat (divided (can sub small can shrimp))
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Ritz Crackers
celery sticks

Steps:

  • Use an electric mixer to blend the chili sauce into the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until very smooth. Add all of the remaining ingredients, except the shrimp, and blend until well combined.
  • Use a spoon to fold in the shrimp and chives, reserving a couple of tablespoons of shrimp for garnish. Cover and chill for at least an hour or two prior to serving.
  • Pile the reserved shrimp in the center of the dip and serve with Ritz Crackers and celery sticks.

⅓ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chili sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 green onions, chopped
2 cups finely-chopped cooked shrimp ((about 8 ounces total))
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Optional garnish: additional chopped fresh parsley or chopped green onion; small shrimp; a dash of paprika
Optional, for serving: crackers, celery sticks, potato chips, French baguette

My daughter in law loves this dip and she don't even like shrimp... I acquired this recipe when I was 13 yr old from an older friend. She'd make every time she had a party, whether tupperware party or birthday party...and it was always a hit!

1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup(s) sour cream
1/2 jar(s) cocktail sauce
1/4 cup(s) green onions, sliced thin
1/4 cup(s) green pepper, diced, optional
1/2 cup(s) grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 pound(s) frozen or fresh shrimp, medium, cooked or thawed
1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese and sour cream together then spread onto a small serving platter or a dinner plate.
  • Spread cocktail sauce over cream cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle onions, green peppers and tomatoes over cocktail sauce.
  • Layer shrimp over veggies, arranging all pretty if you wish, the shrimp can be coarsely chopped and sprinkled over veggies as well.
  • Top with Mozzarella. Garnish with a couple whole shrimp and a green onion if desired.
  • Serve with you favorite crackers.
  • Please note, the tomatoes will juice slightly, so don't make the day before. 3 hours in advance at most, then cover tightly with plasic wrap and store in refrigerator.

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
1 cup frozen small shrimp or 1 (8 ounce) can small shrimp
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish

2 tablespoons finely mince onions (can be dried onion)
1/3 cup slivered almonds (optional)
