WHIPPED CREAM ICING

Whipped cream icing image

Wonderful light whipped cream icing. Not sweet sweet like traditional but you can adjust how sweet by adding a bit more sugar.. It's a bit sturdier with the added cornstarch over just whipped cream.. Does not affect the flavor. Still needs to be refrigerated but holds up very well. If flavoring add flavor when you add the sugar

1/3-1/2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2. Pour COLD cream into cold mixing bowl and whip until thickened but not stiff

Tips for Making Whipped Cream Icing:

  • Use cold cream and beaters. This will help the cream whip up faster and more easily.
  • Gradually increase the speed of the beaters. Start on low speed and gradually increase it to high speed as the cream begins to thicken.
  • Do not overbeat the cream. Overbeaten cream will become stiff and grainy.
  • Add flavorings and colorings at the end. This will prevent them from curdling the cream.
  • Use whipped cream icing immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Conclusion:

Whipped cream icing is a delicious and versatile frosting that can be used to top cakes, cupcakes, pies, and other desserts. It is easy to make and can be customized with a variety of flavors and colors.
