1/4 cup whiskey
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
8 onion rolls or hamburger buns, split
Optional toppings: Lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese slices and barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 11 ingredients. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into eight 1/2-in.-thick patties., On a greased grill, cook burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. Serve burgers on rolls with toppings as desired. Freeze option: Place patties on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet; wrap and freeze until firm. Remove from pan and transfer to an airtight container; return to freezer. To use, grill frozen patties as directed, increasing time as necessary for a thermometer to read 160°.

1 lb. ground beef
Salt and pepper, as desired
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 shot whiskey
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Sub rolls or Hoagie rolls, cut in half

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet on medium temperature.
  • Combine the ground beef, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Separate ground beef into 4 thin (about 1/2 inch thick) hamburger patties.
  • Arrange hamburger patties in the skillet, leaving about an inch of space between each burger. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Flip hamburger patties and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  • Add the butter and barbecue sauce to the remaining beef juices in the skillet. Stir to combine. Continue cooking until the butter melts. Remove pan from the heat.
  • Add whiskey and stir to combine. Return the skillet to the heat. Sprinkle 1 cup cheddar cheese into the sauce and stir until cheese melts. Return burgers to the sauce and cook until bubbling.
  • Place hamburger patties on bulkie rolls or hoagie rolls. Sprinkle each burger with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Serve Whiskey Cheddar Hamburgers with dill pickles and your favorite burger toppings.

¼ cup beer (such as Sam Adams®)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger whiskey (such as Jack Daniel's®)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat; lightly oil the grate.

8 slices SARGENTO® Deli Style Sliced Chipotle Cheddar Cheese
2 pounds lean ground beef
2 cups medium salsa, divided
1 cup finely crushed tortilla chips, divided
1 cup chopped green onions, divided
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
8 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Make drainage holes in a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil with a grilling fork; set aside.
  • Combine ground beef, 1 cup salsa, 1/2 cup tortilla chips, 1/2 cup green onions, garlic salt and chili powder in large bowl until well blended. Shape beef mixture into 8 burgers, 4 inches in diameter and 1/2inch thick.
