Tips:

  • For the best results, use high-quality white chocolate that contains at least 30% cocoa butter.
  • Make sure your butter and cream cheese are softened to room temperature before you start baking. This will help them to blend together more smoothly.
  • If you don't have a lemon zester, you can use a fine grater to zest the lemon.
  • Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the cake tough.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Don't overbake the cake, or it will be dry.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • If you want to make the cake ahead of time, you can wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

This white chocolate lemon cream cake is a delicious and elegant dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The moist and fluffy cake is complemented by the creamy and tangy lemon frosting. It's a cake that is sure to impress your friends and family.

Here are some additional tips for making this cake:

  • If you don't have a 9-inch springform pan, you can use two 8-inch round cake pans. Just be sure to adjust the baking time accordingly.
  • For a more intense lemon flavor, you can use Meyer lemons instead of regular lemons.
  • If you want to add a little extra sweetness to the cake, you can add 1/2 cup of sugar to the batter.
  • This cake is also delicious served with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream.
