Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with nonstick spray. Mix together all ingredients except Doritos. Layer half the Doritos (about 2 cups) on the bottom, then spread half the chicken mixture, rest of the Doritos, and the rest of the chicken mixture. Add more cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. I usually double the recipe and cook it in a 9x13 pan for 45 minutes, just so we can have leftovers the next day.
WHITE TRASH CASSEROLE
Found on Pinterest and shared so many times not sure who came up with it. The original recipe calls for Cream of Mushroom Soup, but I love Cream of Onion so I changed. You could use mushroom, onion or even Cream of Celery. Whatever you have on hand.

Steps:
- Cook and drain beef. (I rinse the beef under hot water to remove all of the grease -- it is rich enough!).
- Melt butter in a pan and when melted and lightly sizzling add the flour.
- Whisk until combined and gently simmer the butter/flour mixture for about two minutes to remove the flour/starch taste but don't let it brown any.
- Add the 1.5 cups of milk and quickly whisk until smooth. SImmer until thick over medium heat stirring constantly. It will be quite thick.
- Add the half and half cream and quickly whisk until smooth.
- Cook over low heat until thickened.
- Add the beef and adjust the seasonings.
- Serve over good biscuits well buttered.
- This is a very creamy and rich gravy. You may use 2 cups whole milk if you need to omit the cream.
- If it is too thick for your taste -- then dilute with more milk -- but it usually is perfect the way it is written.
- Leftovers are excellent.

WHITE TRASH / TRAILER TRASH
A Kitchen Daddio variation on a holiday favorite. Easy to make; easy to clean! And kids love it! Parents, try letting your kids make it themselves (with your supervision of course!). Update 12/26/06: Hat tip to "Kat's Mom" for catching a major typo! No, it should NOT have been 60 oz. of chocolate chips. It should be 16 oz!!! Try this one again, and I promise you'll enjoy it, or I'll refund you the ingredients.

Steps:
- For "WHITE TRASH," use the first four ingredients only. Or for a fun variation - add the optional chocolate chips and dry roasted peanuts to make "TRAILER TRASH!".
- Melt butter, peanut butter (and chocolate chips) together in medium sauce pan OVER LOW HEAT. Place Rice Chex (and dry roasted peanuts) in a large container (plastic salad mixing bowls with lids work great!). Pour melted mixture over Rice Chex (and peanuts) and toss, until evenly coated throughout.
- ---Kids love this part!---.
- Then pour conf. sugar over mixture (1 box at a time), place lid on container, and shake shake shake! Shake well, until all the mixture is coated with sugar. Repeat with second box.
- Serve, and enjoy!

WHITE TRASH BROCCOLI CASSEROLE
Any recipe that calls for a canned cream soup is kinda white trashy, in my opinion, but you gotta admit it tastes good and it's easy--and kids actually like it! ( In fact this is the recipe that finally got my son to say "I like broccoli!" ) I try to use a reduced fat cream soup and sour cream to keep the calories down. This is a great side dish for meatloaf, Salisbury steak or any hamburger-based dish.

WHITE TRASH
This salty and sweet white trash needs to come with a warning label because it's addictive. We loved the bits of Reese's Pieces throughout. It's a nice surprise pop of peanut butter flavor when you expect it to be just chocolate. A simple recipe to make for gift giving or just when you want a special snack.

WHITE TRASH CHEESE SOUFFLE
A "faux" cheese souffle using sliced bread that can be day-old. Because it rests for an hour before cooking, it is a good choice to use with recipes that require prep right before cooking. A childhood favorite. Prep time below includes the hour of resting time.

WHITE TRASH DIP
Steps:
- Put sausage in medium saucepan and constantly stir and break up in order to properly brown. Do not drain. Once sausage is completely browned, add both cans of Rotel. Let that cook and meld together for about 2 minutes. Lastly add both cream cheese bars. Constantly stir in order to make sure that cream cheese is completely melted. There should be no lumps of cheese. The cheese melts better with both the hot sausage and Rotel. There is no need for any other spices for this recipe. Extremely easy.
