Great salsa for corn chips or for chicken or fish. The Jalapeno pepper adds some heat, and the mango adds some sweet flavor. A very colorful dish to serve. I got the recipe from someone who brought it to a tennis group lunch. She served it with tortilla chips and it tasted delicious and looked beautiful.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes: The riper the mangoes, the sweeter and more flavorful your salsa will be.
  • Use a variety of colors: For a more visually appealing salsa, use a mix of red, yellow, and green mangoes.
  • Add some heat: If you like your salsa with a little kick, add a jalapeño or serrano pepper. Just be sure to remove the seeds first.
  • Don't over-chop the ingredients: You want the ingredients in your salsa to be small, but not mushy. A quick dice is all you need.
  • Let the flavors meld: After you've made your salsa, let it sit for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.

Conclusion:

Zippy mango salsa is a delicious and refreshing condiment that can be used to add flavor to a variety of dishes. It's perfect for tacos, burritos, grilled fish, or simply as a dip for chips. With its sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor, this salsa is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
