Blue Cheese Meatloaf............................mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! image

o.k...all of you blue cheese lovers out there.....and you know who you are!!!! This recipe is scrumptious, and most likely includes ingredients you already have on your shelves!!!! It was given to me by my future daughter in law, and has been tried by many, with rave reviews!!! You will love it!!!! Enjoy!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 3/4 lbs ground beef
3 -4 ounces blue cheese (or more)
1 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1 diced onion (yellow or white)
1 (4 1/2 ounce) can mushrooms
crumbled bacon (optional)

Steps:

  • Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil until translucent.
  • Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
  • Shape into loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes -- (not less).

This meatloaf was a disaster. It was dry, crumbly, and the blue cheese was overpowering. I would not recommend this recipe.
