Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 to 4 pork chops
kroger pepper seasoning
coconut oil to grease the pan
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
note about the pepper seasoning: it is worth trying to find it, because it contains pepper, bell pepper, chili pepper, cumin, salt, garlic, oregano and paprika. fabulous on pork chops!
Steps:
  • 1. THIS IS EASY AND FAST! Wash your chops, make sure they are all about the same thickness. Mine in the photo are about 1/2 inch thick. Blot your chops dry. Liberally sprinkle the pepper seasoning on both sides of the chops. (don't salt)
  • 2. Heat coconut oil in a grill pan on medium high heat. (Coconut oil is tasty and healthier than olive oil) Place the seasoned chops in the pan, and fry to a golden brown on both sides. Enjoy!
  • 3. Cook's tip: I cook my Dutch Oven Sweet Potatoes and Apples while the pork chops are grilling in the pan!
I'm not a fan of pepper, so I omitted the peppercorn crust. The pork chops were still very good, but I think they would have been even better with the crust.
