Brown Sugar Vinaigrette image

2/3 cup safflower oil or 2/3 cup light olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • In a covered jar or cruet, combine oil, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, garlic, and salt and pepper.
  • Shake well and chill.
  • Shake well before serving.
