Cantonese Chicken Wings image

These are sticky gooey and soooooo good. Need lots of napkins for these.

8 chicken wings
6 Tbsp hoisin sauce
4 Tbsp dark soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
4 clove garlic minced
1 Tbsp ginger grated
2 Tbsp shaoxing
2 tsp garlic chili sauce
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c crushed cashews
2 green onions chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Place the hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, shaoxing wine, chili garlic sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Add in 6 tbsp water. Bring to a boil and simmer about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  • 2. Preheat oven 425 degrees. Place the whole chicken wings on baking sheet. Pour the sauce over the wings. Cover loosely with foil. Roast about 25 minutes.
  • 3. Serve sprinkled with green onions and cashews.
