CAPE COD OATMEAL COOKIES image

1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup lard
1 T molasses
1/4 cup milk
1 3/4 cups rolled oats (not quick oats)
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Beat the egg, and add all the other ingredients. Mix well. Butter 2 large baking sheets. Bake 350 for 15 min. or so
