I love brussel sprouts but my family did not care for them until I came up with this recipe. Such a simple recipe but great flavor.

Steps:
- 1. Cook, brussel sprouts in boiling water to just tender. Cool sprouts to to handling temperature, and slice in half lenghtwise.
- 2. In the meantime, melt butter in saute pan, add the chopped garlic, and cook for one minute. Add the brussel sprouts (sliced side down) turn heat to medium high, and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bottoms of the sprouts are caramelized. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
