Time 45m

Number Of Ingredients 9

21 oz can cherry pie filling
2 Tbsp orange juice
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 c bisquick baking mix
1/2 c whipping cream
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 Tbsp butter, softened
1/4 c mini semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp granulated sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350^. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole mix pie filling, orange juice and almond extract. Microwave uncovered on high about 4 minutes or until bubbly around the edge; stir to blend. In a medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients except the 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, with a spoon until stiff dough forms. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls (about 1/4 cup each) onto warm filling. Sprinkle the 1/2 teaspoon of sugar over dough( I like to sprinkle on cookie decorating sugar, it has more sparkle) Bake 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm.
