A friend gave me this recipe awhile ago - I have not tried making it yet- but I had it at her home a few weeks ago at a Pampered Chef party- and that's how I got this recipe.

3 oz pkg. lemon jello
1 3/4 c boiling water,divided
1/4 c lemon juice

Dissolve the lemon jello in the remaining water; stir in the lemon juice and set aside. Mash the cream cheese in a medium bowl, or soften in the microwave for 20 seconds.Stir in the mayonnaise. Pour lemon gelatin into the cream cheese mixture and stir until smooth. To this mixture add the undrained pineapple. To the lemon /pineapple mixture add the marshmallows and whipped topping. Spread the pineapple mixture over the cherry layer and sprinkle the mini chips over all. Chill in the refrigerator until set. She said she usually makes this dessert the night before. It is so good!!

This salad is just okay. It's not bad, but it's not anything special either.

The dressing for this salad is too thick and creamy. I would have preferred a lighter dressing.

I found this salad to be a bit bland. I think it needed more salt and pepper.

This salad is a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have liked it better if it had less sugar.

I'm not a big fan of cherry salad, but this one is actually really good. The yogurt and nuts add a nice touch.
