Steps:
- 1. chicken and Gravy: put water,base into a crockpot:with celery onion and water and seasoning, cook on high for 4 hrs or low for 8hrs, chicken will fall apart, take chicken out and cut it up into bite size peices, in the mean time make a Rue
- 2. make a rue: 6 TBLS of butter and 1/2 cup of flour, melt butter in a dutch oven when butter is melted add flour,incorpperate flour into butter made sure the butter is all through the flour
- 3. slowly add the juice from the crockpot into the butter and flour mixture, stir with a wisk till it comes to a boil or gets thick like gravy when juice gets thick add chicken
- 4. make waffles: mix all ingredients together, heat up waffle iron, take a large ice cream scoop and put one scoop on each waffle side. you can use frozen but i prefer homemade.
- 5. I make mash potatoes with mine, I put waffle down then a scoop of potatoes and then pour the chicken gravy over it, serve with vegtables, it will fanish fast! i hope you enjoy it, we do!
