Chicken Cacciatore Stew (Crock Pot) image

I like to make this on cold wintery days. It's really simple and smells good while it's cooking. Sometimes I leave out the beans and add another jar of sauce. From the Fast and Healthy magazine.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, 1-inch pieces
3 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, 2x1-inch pieces
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (14 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in electric cooker pot.
  • Mix well.
  • Cover and cook on Low setting for at least 6 hours.
