Provided by mytastytreasures

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound chicken cutlets
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 garlic clove
1 mediium onion
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons Guldens brown mustard
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
** I usually double all the ingredients, only adding brown sugar to 3 tablespoons.

Steps:

  • Cut garlic in half and onions in thin rings. Heat oil in skillet and add garlic and onion. Cook for 5 minutes. Mix soy sauce, mustard, brown sugar, and ginger in a small bowl. Add the chicken , cook a little. Add your soy sauce mixture, finish cooking the chicken and let sauce thicken a bit. (cover and cook) If sauce doesnt thicken to your liking remove chicken and cook down sauce heavily for a minute or thicken by adding cornstarch mixed with water. Very tasty.

This dish is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. My kids love the chicken, and they don't even notice the vegetables.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I made a big batch of chicken the other night, and I used the leftovers to make this dish. It was so good!

I'm not a big fan of mustard, but I actually really enjoyed this dish. The mustard flavor was not overpowering at all, and it really complemented the soy sauce and chicken.

This dish was a bit too salty for my taste, but I think that's because I used a bit too much soy sauce. I would recommend using a little less soy sauce if you're not a fan of salty dishes.

This chicken dish was a hit with my family! The mustard and soy sauce marinade gave the chicken a delicious flavor that was both tangy and savory. The chicken was also cooked perfectly, being moist and tender on the inside while having a crispy skin
