Chinese Tomato Salad image

This recipe came from my cookbook called The Asian Cookbook. The Asian name of this dish is Chung Sik Faan Ke Sa Leut, but in English it's Chinese Tomato Salad.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 large tomatoes
1 tablespoon scallion, finely chopped (green onion)
1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon Chinese white rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch white pepper
1 pinch granulated sugar

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients for the dressing, and set aside.
  • Thinly slice the tomatoes. Arrange tomato slices on a plate, and spoon the dressing over the top.
