Chocolate Cream Cheese Walnut Bars image

This recipe has been changed from a basic cheesecake bar. I turned it into a chocolate cheesecake bar with a walnut crumb topping. The original recipe was taken from an old church cookbook from the 70s or 80s. They are full of chocolatey goodness. Give these bars a try. I'm sure you'll like them. Enjoy!

I found this recipe to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I'll try using less sugar in the cream cheese layer.

I decided to experiment a bit with this recipe! I used a graham cracker crust instead of a regular pie crust because I like the crunch better and I added some chopped walnuts to the cream cheese layer. It was a lovely addition!
