I have a funny story about this recipe. I won a blue ribbon at a county fair for this pie. When I took my husband that night to the fair to show him, the pie was missing from the table! They left the ribbon for me though :-)

This pie was a little too sweet for my taste, but my husband loved it. I think I'll try making it again with less sugar next time.

I've made this pie a few times now, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The filling is rich and flavorful, and the crust is flaky and buttery. I highly recommend this recipe!

This chocolate shoo-fly pie was a hit with my family! The combination of chocolate and molasses was perfect, and the crumb topping added a nice crunch. I will definitely be making this pie again.
