Cinnamon Nuts image

This is one of the fastest and easiest recipes for sugared nuts I have ever made and they were devoured by my family and guests ...Definitely will have to double or triple the batch for Christmas munching and gift giving!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/4 c evaporated milk (like carnation or store brand)
1 c granulated sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 Tbsp water
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 c nuts, whole or halves (your favorite)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients,except nuts. Stir and dissolve mixture over medium heat.
  • 2. Add nuts and continue to cook and stir until nuts are completely sugared with no syrup is left in the pan.
  • 3. Spread out on non stick foil and let cool and dry.

These cinnamon nuts were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred them with less sugar. Otherwise, they were still a good snack.

I wasn't sure how these would turn out, but I was pleasantly surprised! The cinnamon nuts were so easy to make and they tasted amazing. I'll definitely be making these again.

These cinnamon nuts were delicious! I made them for my family and they were a hit. The nuts were perfectly coated in cinnamon and sugar and had a great crunch. I would definitely recommend this recipe.
