1 1/2 lbs cipollini onions, peeled
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

I'm not a fan of cipollini onions, but I thought I'd give this recipe a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it.

This dish was a hit at my last dinner party. The onions were perfectly sweet and sour, and the balsamic vinegar added a nice touch of acidity.
