1 lb ground beef
1 onion finely chopped
3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup coca cola
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp black pepper
hamburger buns

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef, onion and green pepper in heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. When meat is cooked through, drain excess fat.
  • 2. Add remaining ingredients, except buns, and stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3. Serve meat misture on hamburger buns. Serve with your favorite green salad.
