Steps:
- 1. Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, egg, sour milk, and vanilla
- 2. Sift together flour, soda, salt, and cocoa
- 3. Combine wet and dry ingredients
- 4. Chill at least one hour
- 5. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet
- 6. Bake 8 - 10 minutes at 350 degrees
