This is a newly adopted recipe I just tried last weekend in an attempt to use up some fresh apples and a can of cranberry.....lets just say we loved it.....very delicious.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, combine sugar and flour, stir in cranberry sauce. Add the apples; toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 13x9 baking dish.
- 2. In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon; cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
- 3. Bake at 375* for 35-40 mins or till filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
