We call our deep freeze the pit. I got a brilliant idea to use a plastic long container to line up my meat so it doesn't get lost down at the bottom. I have thrown out so much meat in the past. It is my husbands job to pick the meat out and I come up with what I am gonna cook for dinner. Yesterday he pulled out a chuck roast....

Steps:
- 1. Slice roast into thin slices. Dredge in flour & seasoning, salt and pepper.
- 2. In a lg fry pan add oil & garlic. Place slices of meat and brown on both sides; remove when browned. Add more oil and saute onions till caramelized. Remove onions. Add water to the drippings and then the gravy packets.
- 3. Add back in the meat & onions. Simmer on low for 1 1/2 hrs or till tender. Pour over rice or mashed potatoes. Can be made in the crock pot.
