Yield 22 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 C all purpose flour
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 C margarine, room temp
1 C firmly packed light brown sugar
1 C sugar
2 eggs, room temp
2 T milk
2 t vanilla
2.5 C rolled oats
12 oz semisweet choc chips
1.5 C chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat 350 degree. Rack in center of oven. Grease baking sheets; dust with flour. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Using electric mixer, cream magarine with both sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating until light and fluffy. Mix in milk and vanilla. Stir dry ingredients into batter. Fold in oats, chocolate chips and walnuts. Using 1/3 cup for each cookie, drop batter onto prepared sheets spacing 3 inches apart. Bake until cookies are light brown around edges, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool on sheets 3 minutes. Transfer to rack and cool completely. Store in airtight container.
