Cran-Apple Ham Slice image

Cranberries, apple and a little brown sugar blend into a chunky accompaniment to ham. The not-too-sweet sauce gets its pretty pink color from cranberry juice. When cranberries are in season, I freeze some specifically for this down-home dinner. -Jena Coffey, Rock Hill, Missouri

I thought this recipe needed a bit more seasoning, so I added some garlic powder and onion powder. It was also a little too sweet for my taste, so I added a bit of lemon juice. Overall, it was a good recipe.
