Steps:
- preheat oven to 350 degrees Mix flour, sugar and salt in large bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pat mixture firmly in bottom of a jelly roll pan 15:x1-"x1". Bake until dough is lightly browned, 15=20 minutes. Cool briefly on rack. Make the filling: In a bowl whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, syrup, butter, salt and vanilla until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the cranberries and walnuts. Pour the filling over warm crust. Bak iin oven until set about 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack; cut into bars
