Creamy Cran-Raspberry Jello Salad image

This is Mom's recipe, made wtih sour cream. It is a delight for the holidays. It can be served as a side dish, fruit dish, or dessert. Cooking time includes an estimated refrigeration time to set.

2 (3 ounce) packages raspberry Jell-O gelatin
2 cups hot water
1 (14 ounce) can smooth jellied cranberry sauce
1 pint sour cream

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, gently beat all ingredients with electric mixer, until smooth.
  • Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate several hours, until firm.
