Crock Pot Beefy Spanish Rice image

Found on the Web in response to the question, "Can rice be cooked in the crock pot?" I have not (yet) tried this myself.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 lbs lean ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup long grain rice

Steps:

  • Brown beef in a skillet and drain off fat; place beef in crock pot.
  • Add remaining ingredients to crock pot and stir well.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
