My husband doesn't like sour cream in his cheesy potatoes, so I was experimenting with different combinations to get the creamy texture without using sour cream. Mission accomplished with this great side dish!

Steps:
- 1. Put everything but cream cheese and butter in a crock pot. Mix well. Cut up cream cheese and butter into cubes. Dot over top of potatoes.
- 2. Cook on High for 2 hours, stirring periodically. Reduce heat to low and cook for 2 more hours. Can also cook this in the oven at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
