I threw this soup together one evening after work. I wanted something I could take to work for my lunch without a lot of fuss. It turned out wonderful. Everyone at work was asking why I didn't bring in the whole pot. LOL! Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Combine the first 8 ingredients in a 4 - 5 quart crock pot. Stir and cook on high for 3 - 3 1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender.
- 2. In a container with a lid, shake together the half and half and flour. Stir this mixture and bacon into the soup and cook another 30 - 45 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings according to taste.
- 3. Serve with favorite condiments, such as sliced green onions and sour cream.
