We stay so busy that I have made this as a quick meal served with cornbread or with just crackers. I try to keep extra cans in the cupboard so if need be I can make it at the last minute. My husband likes to rewarm it to eat the next day!!

I made this stew in my slow cooker and it was perfect. The meat was fall-apart tender and the vegetables were cooked to perfection.

I tried this recipe and it was a disaster. The stew was bland and the beef was overcooked.
