Dovel Family Oyster Stew image

This has been served on Christmas Eve in our family forever. We also serve Chili, for those who don't care for oysters. Great with buttered crackers warmed in the oven, or plain oyster crackers straight out of the bag.

Delicious! I used fresh oysters from the local fish market and they were perfect in this stew. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the vegetables were cooked just right. I served it with crusty bread and it was a hit with the whole family.

This oyster stew was easy to make and turned out great! The oysters were cooked perfectly and the broth was creamy and flavorful. I added a bit of extra Old Bay seasoning to taste. Will definitely make this again.
