Adapted from the October 17, 2009 issue of Family Circle Magazine. Submitted by a reader, Shelly Fisher, who created it after having Swiss fondue in Europe. I don't think the garlic works, so I have made it optional.

These scones were a complete disaster. I followed the recipe carefully, but they just didn't turn out right. They were dense and crumbly, and they didn't taste very good.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my scones turned out a bit dry. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

These scones were a bit too cheesy for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference. They were still very good, and I would definitely make them again.

I'm not a huge fan of scones, but these fondue scones were really good. They were light and fluffy, and the cheese flavor was just right.

These scones are a great way to use up leftover cheese. I always have a few slices of cheese in my fridge, and these scones are the perfect way to use them up.

I was a bit skeptical about trying these scones, but I'm so glad I did! They were surprisingly delicious. The cheese and bacon combination is perfect.
