Fried Bananas (Bananas Fritas) image

This a very fast and elegant desert you can have it ready and on the table in no time at all, 6-7 minutes tops. You may serve it with a ball of vanilla icecream on the side, it goes very well together.

4 bananas
40 g butter
1/4 cup rum
4 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Peel the bananas, making sure the are riped but firm.
  • Cut the in half length-wise and place in pan with butter and cook for 2-3 minutes, carefully adding in your rum.
  • Remove from heat place on serving plates and sprinkle with the sugar and cinimon over top.
