I'm not a huge fan of German food, but this recipe changed my mind. The meatballs were so flavorful and juicy, and the sauce was rich and creamy. I will definitely be making this again.

This recipe is a great base for experimentation. I've tried it with different types of meat, different vegetables, and different sauces, and it's always been a hit. It's a great way to use up leftovers, too.

I added some chopped mushrooms and bell peppers to the sauce, and it gave it a really nice depth of flavor. I also served it over egg noodles instead of mashed potatoes, and it was a great change of pace.

I tried this recipe with ground turkey instead of beef, and it was delicious! The turkey meatballs were lighter and healthier, and the sauce was just as flavorful.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my meatballs turned out tough and the sauce was too salty. I won't be making this recipe again.
