Golden Raisin Bran Muffins image

This recipe came from Taste of Home. It calls for Golden Raisins but I used regular raisins. Yummy, healthy breakfast or snack. My 1 yr old even likes them!

Not a fan of the bran, but the raisins are good.

These muffins are a bit too sweet for me, but otherwise they're great.

I followed the recipe exactly and the muffins turned out dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I'll definitely try making them again with some adjustments.

These muffins were a little too sweet for my taste, but I think that's because I used light brown sugar instead of granulated sugar. Next time I'll try using less sugar or maybe even honey.

I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter and it gave the muffins a wonderful flavor. I also sprinkled some chopped walnuts on top before baking and they added a nice crunch.

I made these muffins with whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour and they turned out great. They were still light and fluffy, but had a slightly nutty flavor that I really enjoyed.

These muffins were a hit with my family! My kids loved the sweet and chewy golden raisins and my husband said they were the best bran muffins he's ever had. I'll definitely be making these again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy these muffins were to make. I had all the ingredients on hand and they were mixed and in the oven in less than 30 minutes. They turned out perfectly golden brown and smelled amazing.

These muffins had a moist, tender crumb and a delicious nutty flavor from the golden raisins and bran. I loved the hint of cinnamon and nutmeg in the background. They were perfect for a quick and easy breakfast or snack.
