GRANDMAS SECRET CHOCOLATE CAKE
I found this recipe going thru one of my grandmas recipes in a box. I decided to make it and share it with you all. alittle of my past brought into the future.

Steps:
- 1. pre heat oven to 350f coat 2 8in rounds with cooking spray
- 2. in small sauce pan bring tomato juice and water to a boil, whisk in cocoa until smooth and remove from heat.
- 3. in medium bowl stir together flour, baking soda,baking powder and salt.
- 4. in a medium bowl, stir together sugar, oil eggs and vanilla until combined. beat in cocoa mixture, beat in flour mixture just until evenly moistened.
- 5. divide batter between the 2 pans Bake until toothpick comes out clean. 25 to 30 min.
- 6. let cool , can make a 2 layer cake or use a 9X13 pan ..and use icing of your choice. I like it best with cream cheese icing.
