Green Bean Ham Quiche image

Here's a delicious, healthful way to use up leftover ham. Green beans make the dish fresh and snappy. Cheddar cheese works perfectly in this, too, if it's what you have on hand. -Sandy Flick, Toledo, Ohio

This quiche was a bit too salty for my taste. I think I would have used less ham or a lower-sodium ham. The filling was good, though.

The crust on this quiche was a bit too thick for my liking. I think I would have preferred a thinner, flakier crust. The filling was good, though.

This quiche was a bit bland for my taste. I think I would have liked it better if I had used a stronger cheese, like cheddar or Gruyère. I also would have added some herbs to the filling, like thyme or rosemary.

I'm a vegetarian, so I omitted the ham from this quiche. It was still delicious! I added some sautéed mushrooms and spinach to the filling instead. I'll definitely be making this again.
