- Saute' the onion in the butter. Blend in the flour; add the sour cream and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add the cooked beans, salt and pepper to taste. Turn into a greased 8x6-inch casserole dish and top with the shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until the beans are hot and the cheese is bubbly.
