I found this recipe from a Mandarin Website. It used Green Tea powder (Japanese "Mocha"), and the cake actually looked "greenish"....

This cake was a bit of a disappointment. The green tea flavor was very subtle and the cake was a bit dry. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I might try making it again with a different green tea powder.
