Steps:
- preheat oven to 450 degrees Combine apples. spices, sugars. flour. & lemmon rind Stir to blend. Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Place top crust on & seal the edges. Cut decoratives vents into top crust. Fork or use cookie cutters. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, reduse heat to 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
