GROUND TURKEY AND SPINACH CURRY image

Number Of Ingredients 11

10 oz chopped frozen spinach
1 tsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 1/4 pounds ground turkey breast
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cumin seed
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup frozen green peas

Steps:

  • Defrost spinach and squeeze out, but leave it a bit watery. Saute onion in olive oil until soft. Add spices, cook, stirring for a minute or so, then add ground turkey and cook until just a little pink. Stir in spinach and peas. Cover and cook another 3-5 minutes until peas are done.
