Time 35m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 to 2 lb ham steak
1 c apple cider
1/4 c brown sugar, lightly packed
1/4 c dijon mustard
1/4 c honey
1/2 tsp liquid smoke flavoring

Steps:

  • 1. Place ham steak in an ungreased 13 by 9 inch baking pan; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together and whisk together. Then pour over ham steak. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, basting often. I cooked mine in an electric skillet. I think I might increase the amount of liquid smoke next time to 3/4 teaspoon.

This was a good recipe, but I made a few changes. I used a different type of mustard and added a little bit of garlic powder to the glaze. It turned out great!

I thought this recipe was just okay. The ham steak was a bit bland, and the glaze was too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

Not a fan. The glaze was too sweet for my taste and the ham steak was a bit dry. I think I'll stick to my old ham steak recipe.

This ham steak with cider glaze was an absolute delight! The glaze was perfectly balanced, with a slight tang from the apple cider and a hint of sweetness from the brown sugar. The ham steak was juicy and tender, and the glaze caramelized beautifully
