HERBED NUTS image

Yield 4 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 cups pecan halves
6 T butter
4 tsp dried rosemary
1/8 tsp dried basil
1T salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Melt all ingredients except nuts together gently in large saucepan. Remove from heat, add 4 cups pecan halves and toss to coat well. Try not to break the nuts. Spread on rimmed cookie sheet and bake in preheated 325 degree oven 10-12 minutes, stirring gently 2 -3 times. Do not let them burn. Serve warm or at room temperature. Freezes beautifully. Just poor whatever you want into bowl and zap for 30 seconds to bring out the flavor.
